TERMS & CONDITIONS (APPLIES FOR VIDEO AS WELL IF CHOSEN)**
1. The photographer is responsible for providing photographic coverage at the agreed services. The client wants to engage the services of the photographer for coverage of the agreed services.
2. The photographer will take predominantly natural photographs, and similar in style and coloring to that shown on web site. The client will inform the photographer of any specifications ahead of the session to avoid confusion.
3. Cancellation policy. If the session event is cancelled for any reason, the following conditions will apply: If more than 18 calendar months’ notice is given, the client will NOT be liable to pay any additional costs (the deposit will be retained). If notice is given between 8 and 4 months, the client must pay 50% of the balance outstanding. If less than 4 months’ notice is given, the client must pay the remaining balance in full.
4. The photographer will maintain backup copies of the images in their archive for a minimum period of 3 months, however an online archive will exist in an informal capacity for 3-6 months. Please do backup your images for peace of mind!
5. The photographer is professionally established and licensed in Greece with a VAT# EL-101559202.
6. If the photographer is unable to perform due to any cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to the photographer’s illness or injury, then the photographer shall return the deposit and any balance paid to the client but shall have no further financial liability with respect to this agreement. It is the photographer’s responsibility to inform the client about the situation as early as possible, and the photographer will endeavor to provide details of and where possible help find an equally qualified replacement for the wedding.
8. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that images are lost through equipment malfunction, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the photographer. In the event that the photographer fails to perform for any other reason, the photographer shall not be liable for any amount in excess of the photographer’s fee. The photographer will take every step possible to ensure against technical failure, multiple memory cards usage, back up kit and recording of images onto several hard drives whilst processing occurs.
9. The Photographer retains the copyright of the images and can use images for promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed. You may print and share any of your session images with family and friends. When shared online via personal media, such as facebook, Instagram, other, photo credit must be included.
PLEASE NOTE: Written email permission by the photographer is needed for third party use, such as businesses, suppliers or venues. Please do not promise images of this kind without consulting with me first. If images from the session are indented for use other than personal, the photographers written email permission is again needed.
PLEASE NOTE: Written email permission by the client is needed, if the photographer wants to sell or profit from an image to third party nonaffiliate members. This if the client and or session members are recognizable in an image.
10. The Photographer makes the decision as to whether an image is supplied as a black and white image or a color image. All images are shot RAW format, with color information preserved and the originals kept as per clause 7 above. The photographer will discuss your preferences prior to the wedding so that they can be taken into consideration during editing, however an image that will only suit a black and white edit will be supplied as such.
11. If hired for long periods of time. Food on the day. I, the photographer, don't insist on being fed, however I'm extremely grateful when I am! Having a hot meal is always welcome and definitely helps to maintain energy levels throughout a long day and evening for myself and hired team, I'm happy to sit alone or at a table with guests to keep an eye on the action, but I'm happy with whatever works for you as a couple. What I will say is that it's good to know either way in advance so that I can plan for it. Thank you!

Please be aware that Andreas Markakis Photography uses images for promotion.
Images from the agreed session can be included in my social media and web site. Images may also be sent to affiliate magazines and blogs for publication. I also share some images with professionals that worked during a session.
However, the client has the option of client privacy. Please see the options below and mark them accordingly. Thank you!
I ALLOW Andreas Markakis Photography:
To use several favorite images for promotional use. This can include, web site and social media (such as facebook, Instagram, Pinterest). Partial live feeds and story creations may happen. Several favorite images can be supplied to according magazines, wedding blogs or personal exhibit. The client agrees to help potential blog communication if requested. Suitable images can be shared to affiliate suppliers (such as wedding planner, venue, other). This includes video if chosen as an option.
I DO NOT ALLOW Andreas Markakis Photography: (CLIENT PRIVACY OPTION +45%)
To use any images containing recognizable faces in any promotional mater. Also, no images containing recognizable faces can be shared in any way.
The client therefore requests “client privacy” and understands that a 45% increase on the original fees will be applied. This includes video if chosen as an option.
