True Cretan Rustic Elopement
Sunny and crispy winters in Crete can inspire many weddings to be hosted in the peaceful and magical atmosphere of the island’s natural scenery. Far away from the tourist crowds, villages at the foothills of the White Mountains, Lefka Ori, offer true Cretan greenery and soft light.
Archondissa and Giorgos blended in perfectly with their look of laced bridal gown and cotton groom’s suit with the Cretan rustic roughness.
Winter season of rich olive leaves, oranges and earthy shades of limestone formed a perfect backdrop for this styled photo shoot.
The color palate for this Winter Cretan promo shoot consisted of the surrounding elements as well at the Botanical Park of Chania. An elegant but natural wedding with touches of green, grey, white and touches of seasonal flowers picked right from the park.

Three generations come together and unite for a memorable family photo shoot on the island of Crete in Greece. All three families flew in from the States for a vacation in Rethymno Crete. They rented a private seafront villa to celebrate the grandparents 50th anniversary.
Grandkids, siblings, wives husbands and grandparents for a 2 hour photo session.
My goal as the Rethymno photographer Crete was to capture images with each family separately then all together then to make a buch of combinations with just siblings, grandparents with their grandchildren, cousins and whatever else we could come up with.
And in the end they were challenged to jump in the pool. And the challenged was accepted.

Anastasia is wearing handmade dresses from Athina Tsolaki and shoes from Katerina Savrani, while running around the village of Embrosneros of the Apokoronas region.
